Hello community members! The Ruis & Dahlin Group Teams would like to introduce you to the Whitefish Corridor Community.
We have had Pre-Architectural Review with the City of Whitefish and have revised it based on their suggestions. There have been several requests to see imagery and details of the community so we have linked the full Architectural Review Pre-App Application below for you to download and view as well as the newest set of plans that was summited for the PUD application.
We have been working with the Dahlin Group, The City of Whitefish, our Engineering team and Geotecnical team to ensure the PUD application covered all that was requested.
On May 18, 2023 our team went before the City of Whitefish Planning Board and they voted in favor by a 4-0 margin to recommend the development.
On June 16th, 2023 our team will appear before The Whitefish City Council.
Please note that WGM only did the surveying for this project and is not engaged to do further work on this. We are working with Whipple Engineering as we move forward.
We are committed to transparency and informing Whitefish citizens and those in surrounding areas what we are proposing and our goal of improving Whitefish with Affordable and Attainable Housing. We strongly believe that our town needs housing for all! The Whitefish Corridor Community would be offering 30% deed restricted Affordable Housing spread throughout the buildings. That would be 44 homes of the proposed 146.
We want to see our teachers, healthcare workers, non-profit employees, first responders and service industry employees being able to thrive in Whitefish and housing has been the biggest issue. Let's work together to make this vision a reality!
